Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how todaysteck LLC ("QEQuiz," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information through the QEQuiz technical-assessment platform (the "Service") at qequiz.com. It applies to assessment candidates, customer (employer) administrators, and visitors.
1. Information we collect

2. How we use information
- To deliver, score, and report assessment results to the Customer.
- To verify candidate identity and protect assessment integrity (anti-cheating).
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.
- To respond to demo/sales inquiries and provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
3. How we disclose information
- To the Customer that initiated the assessment (scores, integrity flags, and captured images).
- Service providers that host infrastructure and perform IP-geolocation lookups, under contract and only as needed to provide the Service.
- Legal/safety disclosures where required by law or to protect rights and safety.
- Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale.
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not sell or lease biometric data.
4. Retention

5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including access controls, encryption in transit, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act/CPRA and other U.S. state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of your personal information, and to appeal a denied request. Because we typically process candidate data on a Customer's behalf, we will forward your request to the relevant Customer where appropriate. To exercise rights, contact us at admin@todaysteck.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
7. Children
The Service is intended for adult job candidates and is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Biometric data notice (BIPA & similar laws)
To verify identity and deter impersonation, the Service captures photographs of the candidate via webcam and performs on-device detection to confirm a face is present. These images may constitute "biometric identifiers" or "biometric information" under laws such as the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA), the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI), and Washington's biometric law.
Purpose: identity verification and assessment-integrity monitoring only.
Consent: we collect, store, and use these images only after the candidate provides written consent on the assessment screen before the test begins.
Disclosure: images are disclosed only to the Customer's authorized hiring personnel and to processors strictly necessary to host the data. We never sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from biometric data.
Retention & destruction schedule: biometric images are permanently destroyed when the initial purpose for collection has been satisfied (the conclusion of the hiring process) or within 30 days, whichever occurs first, and in no event later than three (3) years after the candidate's last interaction with QEQuiz. Candidates and Customers may request earlier deletion by contacting us at admin@todaysteck.com.
Candidates who do not wish to be recorded should not proceed and should contact the hiring organization to arrange an alternative assessment method.
9. International transfers
The Service is operated in the United States. If you access it from outside the U.S., you understand your information will be processed in the U.S.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be posted on this page.
